The sights and sounds of SNDBoston await next week as the Society kicks off its 29th Annual Workshop and Exhibition in New England. The official start is Thursday night at the nightclub and upscale pool hall Felt, but many people tell us they are getting to Boston early, either for SND training options or just to explore the wonderful city.
Looking for something to do next week? Boston is brimming with arts activities. Charles Apple has the scoop on Design Life Now at the beautiful new Institute of Contemporary Art (and featuring work by SNDBoston keynoter Chip Kidd), a Mexican street art show, and the rundown on the city’s vibrant museum and gallery scene.
If you’re still in the market for Friday night fun: There are a few tickets left for the hot Broadway show “Wicked” at the Opera House, hosted by the wickedly fun art director of the Globe’s magazine, Brendan Stephens. The Blog knows an evening out with Brendan could never disappoint, so sign up now.
The Blog urges you to rest while you can. And then bring your rested and ready self for all that SNDBoston has to offer!
